Online classes with Dr. Farias

The online seminar is designed to be the perfect complement to online training on the platform. Online seminars offer the possibility of being observed by Dr. Farias when you perform the exercises on the platform, adapting the training to your individual needs, and getting answers to your specific questions.

Online seminars have a practical approach. Most of the seminar will consist of practice and correction of exercises, only the theory necessary to understand how to practice at home will be explained. These online seminars are entirely taught by Dr. Farias.

Course attendees are encouraged to subscribe to the online training Platform: www.dystoniarecoveryprogram.com where they can find all the exercises recorded on video, the theory explained in multiple videos, and the possibility to ask questions to Dr. Farias and the platform moderators. 

We have invested in a professional video conference system that will allow us to get a high-resolution image of your movements remotely. 

Duration of online seminars

The online seminars last 12 hours spread over 3 days. The maximum number of attendees to the virtual seminars is 9.

Cost of online seminars

The online seminar has a cost of 750 USD.

Please keep in mind that if you have not paid the full cost of the seminar on the day of the event, you will not be able to access the virtual room where the event takes place.

How to apply for a place in an online seminar

To request a place in a seminar, you just need to make two short videos: one showing your symptoms and one walking. Once that you have them ready on your computer or phone please click on the ‘Enrol now’ link below.

You will be directed to a secure encrypted page where you can complete our enrolment form, upload your video and make the payment.

Once that we received the information the video and the payment correctly you will receive an email confirming your place in the seminar with all the information about how to access the meeting room the day of the event.

If you do not receive the confirmation email after making the payment please contact us.

Cancelation policy

Online seminar registrations fees are fully refundable if cancelation request is submitted no later than 48 hours before the scheduled seminar date/start time.  

In the case of an online seminar, in order to receive a full refund, cancellations must be received no later than 48 hours before the first scheduled seminar date/start time.

If you request your cancelation later than 48 hours before the scheduled date/start time, you will be provided a 75% refund. 

Cancellations received after the scheduled seminar date/start time will not be refunded.

In the rare event that we need to cancel a seminar due to circumstances beyond our control, we will make every effort to notify attendees with as much advance notice as possible. Attendees will be given the opportunity to either transfer to another seminar or obtain a full refund.

Attendee technology problems

It is the responsibility of the online seminar attendee to test their computer setup prior to the start of the webinar. If a technical failure at your home or workplace prevents access to the live webinar, you are not eligible for a refund. If the technical problem is due to our error, we will consider issuing a refund.

Attendee email issues

Refunds will not be issued in cases where an attendee did not receive the online seminar login instruction email due to issues like restricted emails, bounced emails, or any other system issues. It is the attendee’s responsibility to contact us if they don’t receive the required login information at least 24 hours prior to the start time of the webinar.

No shows

Attendees who do not participate in the live webinar will not be entitled to a refund.

If the page gives you the green light you can be calm, you will not have problems with the seminar or the classes. Please remember that to avoid technical problems when you enter the virtual room, you must ensure that Facebook Messenger, Skype, YouTube, or any other program or page that includes video is closed.

In-person seminars have a practical approach. Most of the seminar will consist of practice and correction of exercises, only the theory necessary to understand how to practice at home will be explained. These in-person seminars are entirely taught by Dr. Farias.

Cancelation policy

1- A full refund will be provided for the workshop canceled with a minimum of 5 business days’ notice. If a session is canceled within 5 business days of the start time, a refund of 600 USD will be provided.

2- If you need to cancel due to Covid-19 or due to Covid -19 restrictions a full refund will be provided.

3-The organizers of these sessions reserve the right to cancel because of unforeseen circumstances. Unless due to acts of nature, the cancellation will be announced one month prior to scheduled sessions. In these cases, deposits and fees will be refunded. However, the organizers will not be responsible for cancellation costs, such as travel or hotel expenses.
