These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of www.fariastechnique.com, including all educational services, online and in-person seminars, workshops, educational consultations, digital content, videos, publications, and other educational resources provided through this website.

By accessing this website, registering for an event, purchasing educational services, or otherwise using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

If you do not agree with these Terms, you should not use this website or participate in our educational services.

About Farias Technique

Farias Technique is operated by Neuroplastic Training Ltd., a Canadian corporation.

Farias Technique is an educational platform founded by Dr. Joaquín Farias and dedicated to teaching the Farias Technique methodology developed by Dr. Farias.

The website provides educational services only.

Farias Technique does not provide medical care, physiotherapy, diagnosis, treatment, telehealth services, or any other regulated healthcare services.

Eligibility

You must be at least eighteen (18) years of age to purchase educational services or participate in our seminars unless you have the consent of a parent or legal guardian.

By using this website, you confirm that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms of Service.

Educational Services

Farias Technique may provide educational services including:

Descriptions of individual educational services are published on the website and may be updated from time to time.

Bookings

Bookings for seminars, workshops, educational consultations, and other educational services are made through our online scheduling platform.

A booking is confirmed only after payment has been successfully processed and you receive a confirmation email.

Neuroplastic Training Ltd. reserves the right to refuse or cancel bookings where reasonably necessary, including in cases of technical errors, suspected fraud, inappropriate conduct, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Payments

Payments are processed securely through Stripe.

Farias Technique does not collect or store complete payment card information.

Prices are displayed in the applicable currency and may be modified at any time prior to confirmation of a booking.

Applicable taxes will be charged where required by law.

Educational Nature of the Services

All services provided through Farias Technique are educational in nature.

Participation in educational activities does not establish a physician–patient, physiotherapist–patient, therapist–patient, or any other healthcare professional relationship.

The educational information presented through this website is not intended to replace professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

Participants remain solely responsible for consulting appropriately qualified healthcare professionals regarding their individual health needs.

Participant Responsibilities

Participants agree to:

  • Provide accurate registration information.

  • Participate responsibly and within their own physical abilities.

  • Follow reasonable instructions provided during educational activities.

  • Treat instructors and fellow participants respectfully.

  • Refrain from disruptive, abusive, or inappropriate behaviour.

  • Respect the intellectual property rights relating to all educational materials.

Participants may not record, reproduce, distribute, publish, or share seminars or educational materials without the prior written permission of Neuroplastic Training Ltd. or Dr. Joaquín Farias.

Intellectual Property

The Farias Technique methodology, together with its educational concepts, movement principles, exercises, publications, books, videos, seminars, graphics, written materials, logos, educational content, and all other original works made available through this website are the intellectual property of Dr. Joaquín Farias, unless otherwise indicated.

Dr. Joaquín Farias has granted Neuroplastic Training Ltd. a licence to use this intellectual property for the operation of Farias Technique and the provision of educational services.

Participation in educational services grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access educational materials solely for your own personal learning.

Except where expressly permitted by applicable law, you may not:

  • Download

  • Reproduce

  • Modify

  • Translate

  • Publish

  • Distribute

  • Sell

  • Commercially exploit

  • Create derivative works from

any educational material without the prior written permission of Dr. Joaquín Farias or the applicable rights holder.

Third-Party Services

This website uses trusted third-party service providers, including:

  • Squarespace (website hosting)

  • Squarespace Scheduling (booking services)

  • Stripe (payment processing)

  • Vimeo (video hosting)

  • YouTube (embedded educational videos)

  • Google Workspace (email services)

These providers operate under their own terms and privacy policies.

Neuroplastic Training Ltd. is not responsible for services provided directly by these third parties.

Relationship with Other Organizations

Farias Technique is operated by Neuroplastic Training Ltd., which also operates the Dystonia Recovery Program, an educational platform providing digital educational programs, streaming educational resources, and movement-based learning materials.

Both Farias Technique and the Dystonia Recovery Program provide educational services only.

Neuroplastic Training Ltd. collaborates with Dystonia Virtual Clinic, an independent healthcare provider established in Portugal and operated by DRP Health &Education, Lda.

Although these organizations collaborate in supporting individuals affected by dystonia, they are separate legal entities with distinct services, contractual relationships, privacy practices, and legal responsibilities.

Individualized clinical services, including physical therapy consultations, are provided exclusively through Dystonia Virtual Clinic.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Neuroplastic Training Ltd., Dr. Joaquín Farias, instructors, employees, contractors, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from the use of this website or participation in educational services.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by applicable law.

Changes to these Terms

Neuroplastic Training Ltd. may update these Terms of Service from time to time.

The current version will always be published on this website together with the date of the latest revision.

Continued use of the website after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the applicable federal laws of Canada.
